Keith Weiss

With over a decade of experience in the banking industry, Keith brings a deep understanding of financial operations, client relations, and strategic leadership. Before relocating from Vermont five years ago, he served as Chairman of the Charitable Giving Committee at NBT Bank, where he helped guide philanthropic initiatives and strengthen community partnerships through strategic giving.

Since moving to Garrett and starting his career at Horizon Bank, Keith has continued to be an active contributor to both the professional and civic landscape. For four years, he volunteered with the Young Professionals of DeKalb County, serving three years as Treasurer and one year as President —roles that showcased his ability to lead, organize, and inspire emerging leaders.

Outside of professional and civic duties, Keith is a dedicated volunteer at his local church, contributing time and service every week in the sound and tech team, men’s basketball program, and supporting various other church initiatives and values the opportunity to give back through faith-based community work.

Most recently, Keith has begun volunteering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, further expanding his commitment to mentorship and youth development. This new chapter reflects a continued passion for empowering others and making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.

With a passion for empowering others and a dedication to service, Keith looks forward to creating lasting change — one relationship, one initiative, and one act of kindness at a time.
