Excelsior Arts Academy Performances Support Local Families and Community Pantries

DeKALB COUNTY, IN — The DeKalb Chamber Partnership is pleased to share and celebrate the generosity of Excelsior Arts Academy, whose students, families, and educators recently turned their performances into meaningful acts of community service.

Through performances of Miracle on 34th Street, Excelsior cast members, families, and audience participants donated food items that helped restock four Better Together Auburn Community Pantries across DeKalb County. These donations will help ensure local neighbors have continued access to essential food resources.

Additionally, during Excelsior’s Wicked Sing Along event, the Excelsior Arts Academy community raised more than $100 in cash donations to support local families facing food insecurity.

These efforts demonstrate how the arts can inspire generosity and create positive ripple effects beyond the stage. By choosing to give back, Excelsior Arts Academy students, families, and educators strengthened community connections and provided tangible support to those in need.

The DeKalb Chamber Partnership thanks Excelsior Arts Academy and everyone who attended the performances and contributed food or financial donations, helping fill both community pantries and hearts this season.
