Ryan DeForest

Ryan DeForest is a graduate of Hamilton High School, Class of 2008, and Trine University, where he earned a degree in Business Management with a minor in Marketing in 2013. He lived in Garrett from 2014 to 2023 and currently resides in Auburn. Ryan married his wife Katie in 2016, and they have a daughter, Lucy, born in 2017, who attends Lakewood Park Christian Schools.

Ryan has worked at Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance since the end of 2020. He is actively involved in the community through Garrett Youth Soccer, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Junior Achievement, and Habitat for Humanity. In his free time, he enjoys soccer, basketball, and disc golf. He is also a devoted Chicago Bears fan, with an enthusiasm that might be described as almost unhealthy.
