Lymphatics 101 

This introductory health class offers an easy to understand look at the lymphatic system and the basics of lymphatic drainage. The session is taught by Dr. Courtney, a doctor of physical therapy and a certified lymphedema therapist. It is designed for individuals experiencing swelling, individuals with lymphedema, family members and friends who want to learn more, and anyone in the general public interested in supporting immune health.

The class covers the function of the lymphatic system, lymphatic anatomy, lymphedema, lymphatic drainage, and includes a demonstration of a simple at home lymphatic drainage routine. Participants will receive an outline at the class. The instruction lasts about forty five minutes and is followed by a question and answer session.
