20 Years Strong: JAM Center celebrates two decades ofcommunity wellness
GARRETT, Ind. — Youth programs, early education, mental wellness, physical wellness, social support. JAM Center has a rich history of meeting people where they are and walking with them toward who they’re becoming.
JAM Center Founder, Sue Blotkamp, celebrates at JAM Center's Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in 2005.
Now, in 2025, JAM Center is preparing to celebrate 20 years of making a difference through strengthening families, promoting wellness and developing partnerships.
The community who has helped support JAM over the years is invited to attend the organization’s free 20th Anniversary Celebration and Open House on Oct. 23 from 5-6:30 p.m. at JAM Center, 1200 E Houston St., Garrett.
Relive memories and connect with others while enjoying appetizers, cocktails, guided tours with JAM staff and a small presentation at 6 p.m. highlighting JAM’s journey and future.
“We are so honored to have been impacting lives in Garrett for 20 years. I am amazed by the support that has made our ongoing growth possible. Volunteers, members, donors, employees, foundations, businesses, organizations and the community as a whole have contributed to this exciting celebration. With a focus on holistic wellness, lifelong education and fun, we are looking forward to our continued journey,” said Cheryl Nicole, Chief Executive Officer of JAM Center.
Anyone interested in supporting the organization can start by participating in the JAM Center 20th Anniversary Celebration 50/50 raffle drawing.
