Beacon Credit Union donates $1,000 to DeKalb County Fair

AUBURN, Ind. — Beacon Credit Union Auburn Member Center joined in the community spirit at the DeKalb County Free Fall Fair by lending a helping hand at popular food stands.

On Tuesday, September 23, Beacon’s Devin Bolen volunteered his time working in the Eastern Star Donut Trailer, serving up one of the fair’s favorite treats. The following day, September 24, a group of Beacon team members stepped in to assist at the 4-H Food Stand, helping serve visitors while supporting local youth programs.

“Beacon Credit Union is committed to investing time and energy back into the communities we serve,” said Devin Bolen, MSR of the Auburn Member Center. “The DeKalb County Free Fall Fair is a tradition that brings people together, and we’re proud to take part in it alongside our neighbors.”

The DeKalb County Free Fall Fair is one of Indiana’s largest street fairs, drawing thousands of visitors each year with its parades, food, live entertainment, and youth-focused events. Beacon’s involvement highlights its mission of supporting local organizations and strengthening community connections.
